British West Africa coins collection online

In 1907, the British colonies in West Africa, Nigeria, the Gold Coast (now Ghana), Sierra Leone, and the Gambia, were merged into a colonial administrative entity called British West Africa. In addition, the money of British West Africa circulated in the territories of Cameroon and Togo (Togoland), which were captured by Great Britain from Germany in 1914.
