Coin "50 years of universal women's suffrage" 2 euro Andorra

   The commemorative coin of 2 euro of Andorra 2020 is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of universal women's suffrage in this principality. The coin was issued in December 2020 with a circulation of 60,000 units.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro depicts a female face and lines with hard-to-read female names in Catalan, as a tribute to the solidarity of women in the struggle for their rights. The inscription "50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENÍ" ("50 YEARS OF UNIVERSAL WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE") is inscribed around the image, and the name of the state "ANDORRA" and the years "1970-2020" are indicated in the lower part. 12 stars of the European Union are located around the circle.
