A collector's coin from niobium with a face value of 25 euro was issued by the Austrian mint on January 23, 2013 and is dedicated to the construction of tunnels in Austria.
The obverse of the Euro 25 coin depicts a tunnel-breeding complex bursting into rock. On the left side of the obverse is the face value of the "25 EURO" coin and the year of minting "2013." At the bottom of the semicircle is the name of the state "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH."
The reverse of the coin depicts one of many tunnels in the Alpine Mountains. On the outer ring below is the inscription "TUNNELBAU" ("TUNNELING").
