Austria's collection coin from niobium with a face value of 25 euro "Anthropocene" was issued on June 6, 2018 and is dedicated to the problem of human pollution of the environment. Minted in the Austrian mint with a circulation of 65,000 units.

The obverse of the 25 Euro coin against the background of the Eastern Hemisphere depicts human traces symbolizing human intervention in the Earth's ecosystem. Next to the traces is the year of issue of the 2018 coin. On the outer ring in a semicircle is the name of the country "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" the denomination of the coin "25 EURO" and the inscription "ANTHROPOZÄN."

The reverse against the background of the Western Hemisphere depicts a naked human figure and green trees with powerful roots, while the silver ring depicts various sources of human life polluting the planet.
