A commemorative coin of Austria from the Rome Treaty series with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2007 with a circulation of 9 million coins.
The obverse of the coin depicts an open book with the signatures of the parties against the background of the Roman Capitol. At the top of the coin there is an inscription in the national language - "VERTRAG VON ROM 50 JAHRE" (Roman Agreement, 50 years old), and at the bottom - "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" (Republic of Austria). The year of issue of the coin is also indicated.
