Euro 10 Year Cash Circulation Coin, 2 Euro Austria

   A commemorative coin of Austria in the series "10 years of cash circulation euro" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2012 with a circulation of 11.3 million coins.

   On the obverse of the commemorative coin is a globe with a euro sign. It houses a family of four people, a ship, a factory, windmills, symbolizing that the new euro currency took an important place in the economy of European countries and the life of citizens. At the top of the coin is the inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" (Republic of Austria), and at the bottom are the dates 2002 and 2012.
