5 Euro cents, Austria

   Coins of Austria 5 euro cents were put into circulation in 2002. Issued at the Mint of Austria (Vienna). Designed by Josef Kaiser.

   On the obverse of the coin of 5 Euro cents is an image of the flower of the Alpine primrose, a family of primrose. A semicircle indicates the face value of the coin. At the bottom there are three stripes (rough-smooth-rough) symbolizing the Austrian flag. The date of issue of the coin is indicated.
