50 Euro cents, Austria

   Coins of Austria 50 euro cents were put into circulation in 2002. Issued at the Mint of Austria (Vienna). Designed by Josef Kaiser.

   The obverse of the 50 Euro cent coin depicts the facade of the house of the Vensky Secession - an association of Viennese artists in the ar Nuvo era. On top of the semicircle is the denomination of the 50 EURO CENT coin and three strips symbolizing the Austrian flag.
