Coin "100 Years of International Women's Day" 2 Euros Belgium

   Belgium's commemorative coin "100 years of International Women's Day" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2011 with a circulation of 5 million coins.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts portraits of Isala Van Dist and Marie Popelin. On the left and right sides of the portraits are the symbols of their professions - the staff of Asclepius and scales. At the top of the coin is the sign of the Director of the Belgian Mint (feather), the designation of the country ("BE") and the sign of the Mint of Belgium. 12 stars of the European Union are located in a circle.
