The commemorative coin "100 Years to the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2013 with a circulation of 2.02 million coins.

In the central part of the coin there are abreviations of the Royal Meteorological Institute in Dutch and French - "KMI" and "IRM." The year of issue of the coin is indicated at the top. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
