The commemorative coin "European Year of Development" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2015 with a circulation of 250,000 coins.
On the obverse of the commemorative coin is a palm, on which there is a sprout and a globe. At the top of the coin there is an inscription - "2015 EUROPEAN YEAR FOR DEVELOPMENT" and at the bottom is the country designation "BE." On the left is the sign of the Mint of Belgium. 12 stars of the European Union are located around the circle.
