Coin "Jan van Eyck" 2 euro Belgium

   The commemorative coin 2 euro of Belgium 2020 is dedicated to the famous Flemish artist Jan van Eyck . The coin was minted in the Dutch mint and issued in a circulation of 155,000 units.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts a fragment of the painting by artist Jan van Eyck "Portrait of a man in a red turban" as well as his signature and palette with brushes. Above the composition is the name of the artist "J. van Eyck" and on the right is the year of minting the coin "2020" and the designation of the state "BE." The signs of the Royal Mint of the Netherlands and the Director General of the Royal Mint of Belgium are engraved below. 12 stars of the European Union are placed on the outer ring.
