Coin "International Year of Plant Health" 2 euro Belgium

   Belgium's first commemorative Euro 2 coin in 2020 is dedicated to the International Year of Plant Health, proclaimed by the UN and designed to emphasize the importance of plants in combating hunger and protecting the environment . The coin was issued with a total circulation of 755,000 units.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin shows the logo of the International Year of Plant Health and the inscription "INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PLANT HEALTH." To the left of the image is the sign of the Director General of the Belgian Mint, and to the right is the sign of the Royal Mint of the Netherlands. Below is the year of issue of the coin "2020" and the designation of the state "BE." 12 stars of the European Union are placed around the circle.
