The commemorative coin of 2 euro of Belgium is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the release of the guild of Charles V. It was issued on October 27, 2021 with a total circulation of 155,000 units, of which 5,000 coins were minted as Proof.
On the obverse of the commemorative coin on the right side is a portrait of King Charles V, and on the left is a gold coin Carolus Gulden. A little lower is the designation of the country "BE" and the year of issue of the coin "2021." At the bottom is the inscription "CAROLUS V" under which the signs of the mints of Belgium and the Netherlands are indicated. 12 stars of the European Union are located in a circle.
