5 Euro cents, Belgium (1999 type)

   Belgium coins of 5 Euro cents of the 1999 model were issued from 1999 to 2007 at the Royal Mint of Belgium in Brussels. The designer is Jan Alfons Keustermans.

   On the obverse of the 5 Euro cent coin is an image of King Albert II of Belgium . On the outer ring of the coin are 12 EU stars, the king's monogram is the crowned letter "A" and the Roman number "II" as well as the year the coin was minted.
