50 Euro cents, Cyprus

   Cyprus coins with a face value of 50 Euro cents have been issued since 2008 at the Mint of Finland. Designed by Erik Maell and Tatiana Soteropoulos.

   The obverse of the 10 Euro cent coin depicts a Greek merchant ship - the Cyrenean ship. Also on the coin there are two inscriptions "Cyprus" in Greek and Turkish, between which the year of coinage is indicated. 12 stars of the European Union are located in a circle.
