The anniversary coin 2 euro of Finland was released in January 2015 and is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Finnish composer Jan Sibelius. Minting was carried out at the mint of Finland. The circulation amounted to 1 million coins.
The obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro depicts the sky with stars, as well as the tops of trees. On the left side is engraved the name of the composer "JEAN SIBELIUS" and the year of issue of the coin "2015." On the right is the designation of the state "FI" and the sign of the mint of Finland. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
