2 Euro cents, Finland (1999)

   Coins of Finland with a face value of 2 euro cents of the first series were issued from 1999 to 2007 at the Mint of Finland in the city of Vantaa. Designed by Heikki Haivaoja.

   The obverse of the 2 Euro cent coin depicts the coat of arms of Finland - a crowned lion with a silver sword in his hand. The year of issue of the coin is indicated on the left, and 12 stars of the European Union are located in the circle.
