50 Euro cents, Finland (2007)

   Coins of Finland with a face value of 50 euro cents of the second series have been issued since 2007 at the Mint of Finland in the city of Vantaa. Designed by Heikki Haivaoja.

   On the obverse of the 50 Euro cent coin is the coat of arms of the country - a crowned lion with a silver sword in his hand, to the left of which is indicated the year of the coin, and 12 stars of the European Union are placed in the outer circle. Also on the coin of the second series there is a sign of the mint of Finland and the country designation is "FI."
