Coin "100 years since the birth of Abbot Pierre" 2 euro France

   The commemorative coin of France "100 years since the birth of Abbot Pierre" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2012 with a circulation of 1 million coins.

   On the obverse of the commemorative coin is a portrait of Abbot Pierre, over which the inscription "Centenaire de la naissance de l'abbé Pierre" (French Centennial of the birth of Abbot Pierre) is engraved in a semicircle. The coin also indicates the year of minting, the stylized abbreviation of the French Republic - "RF" the sign of the French mint and the director of the mint. 12 stars of the European Union are located around the circle.
