The commemorative coin 2 euro of France is dedicated to World AIDS Day, which is celebrated on December 1. The coin was minted by the French mint and released in November 2014 with a circulation of 3 million copies.
The obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro depicts three ribbons symbolizing the fight against AIDS. Two of them are placed in the form of the letter "V" and denote victory over the disease. The tapes themselves are inscribed - "JOURNÉE MONDIALE" ("WORLD DAY") and "CONTRE LE SIDA" ("AGAINST AIDS"). The date "1 December" is located on top, and at the bottom of the coin is the designation of the state "RF" and the year of minting the coin "2014." 12 stars of the European Union are placed on the outer ring.
