The anniversary coin of France "225 Years Federation Festival" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in July 2015 with a circulation of 4 million units. Minted at the French Mint in Paris.
On the obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro is a portrait of Marianne - a symbol of the French Republic. On the left are lines from the poem of the French poet Paul Eluard "Freedom." Also engraved under the portrait itself is the word "Liberté" (Freedom). Nearby is the year of issue of the coin "2015" and the country designation "RF." At the bottom left are the signs of the French Mint and the head of the engraving workshop. 12 stars of the European Union are located in a circle.
