Coin "100 years since the birth of Francois Mitterrand" 2 euro France

   The anniversary coin 2 euro of France was issued in October 2016 and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of former French President Francois Mitterrand . Minted in the French mint with a circulation of 10 million coins.

   On the obverse of the commemorative coin of 2 euro is a portrait of Francois Mitterrand, to the left of which the year of birth of the politician "1916" and the year of issue of the coin "2016" are engraved. On the right is the personal emblem of Mitterrand, next to which are the signs of the Mint of France and the head of his engraving workshop. Above the portrait is the name of the former president of FRANÇOIS MITTERRAND, and at the bottom of the coin is the country designation "RF" ("République Française"). In the outer circle are 12 stars of the European Union.
