   Coins of France 2 euro cents entered into cash circulation in 2002. Minted at the Paris Mint of France since 1999. Designed by Fabienne Courtiade.

   The obverse of the coin with a face value of 2 Euro cents depicts the image of a young woman Marianne - a symbol of the French Republic. On the right is the country designation "RF" at the bottom of which is the year of issue of the coin. 12 stars of the European Union are located on the outer ring.
