Coin series "Federal States of Germany" - Schleswig-Holstein, 2 euro Germany

   A commemorative coin of Germany in the series "Federal Lands of Germany" - Schleswig-Holstein with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2006 with a circulation of 30 million coins.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts the Holstein Gate in the city of Lübeck. On the left side of the gate there is a mint sign ("A"), on the right initials of the engraver ("NN"), and below is the inscription "SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN." On the outer ring of the coin are 12 stars of the European Union, the year of issue of the coin and the inscription "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" (Federal Republic of Germany).
