Coin series "Roman Treaty" 2 euro Germany

   A commemorative coin of Germany of the Roman Treaty series with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2007 with a circulation of 30 million coins.

   The obverse of the coin depicts an open book with the signatures of the parties against the background of the Roman Capitol. At the top of the coin is the inscription "RÖMISCHE VERTRÄGE 50 JAHRE" (German Treaty of Rome, 50 years old), and at the bottom is "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" (Federal Republic of Germany), and the year of issue of the coin. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
