Coin series "10 years of the Economic and Monetary Union" 2 euro Germany

   A commemorative coin of Germany in the series "10 Years of the Economic and Monetary Union" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2009 with a circulation of 30 million coins.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts a stylized figure of a person and a euro symbol, above which there is an inscription in the national language "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" (Federal Republic of Germany). At the bottom of the coin is the abreviatura "Economic and Monetary Union" (WWU) and the year 1999-2009. Around the circumference of the coin are 12 stars of the European Union.
