   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts the Bremen Town Hall and the statue of Bremen Roland. At the bottom of the coin is the name of the federal land - "BREMEN" and the initials of the artist Bodo Broschat are also indicated. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union, the year of issue of the coin and the letter "D" denoting the country that issued the coin - Deutschland.
