Coin "50 years of Franco-German friendship" 2 euro Germany
The commemorative coin of Germany "50 years of Franco-German friendship" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2013 with a circulation of 11 million coins.
The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts portraits of Charles de Gaulle and Conrad Adenauer with their autographs. In the center of the coin there is an inscription in French and German "50 ANS JAHRE 2013" (50 years 2013). Also at the top of the coin is an inscription in French "TRAITÉ DE L'ÉLYSÉE" and below in German "ÉLYSÉE-VERTRAG" (Treaty of Elysee). On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
