The commemorative coin 2 euro of Germany 2020 is dedicated to the gesture of repentance from the Chancellor of West Germany Willy Brandt in relation to the victims of the 1943 uprising in the Warsaw ghetto. The coin was issued on October 8, 2020 with a circulation of 30 million units.
The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts the kneeling of Willy Brandt in front of the memorial to the heroes of the Warsaw ghetto in Warsaw. Around the composition is the inscription "50 JAHRE KNIEFALL VON WARSCHAU" as well as the year of minting the 2020 coin, the sign of one of the mints of Germany and the designation of the state "D" (Germany). 12 stars of the European Union are placed on the outer ring.
